Urgent notice: Contribution increases effective 1 April 2012
Contribution increases in respect of the BP Medical Aid Society take effect on 1 April each year in order for medical aid increases to coincide with annual salary and pension increases, thereby minimising the impact on our members.

What to do when you are being admitted to hospital
You need to obtain pre-authorisation at least 48 hours before:
- being admitted to hospital;
- going for an MRI/CT scan; and
- having a surgical procedure performed on an out-patient basis, i.e. in the doctor's rooms.
