Annual contribution increase approved

APRIL 2024

The Board of Trustees has been notified by the Registrar of the Council for Medical Schemes that the annual contribution increase with effect from 1 April 2024 has been approved.

MARCH 2024

Contribution increases in respect of the BP Medical Aid Society take effect on 1 April each year. After careful consideration, contributions were increased by an average of 9.5% with effect from 1 April 2024.

Focus on COVID-19 vaccinations

June 2021

Phase 1 of the national vaccination rollout initially focused on the vaccination of healthcare sector workers. Phase 2 of the national vaccination schedule is now open and aims to complete the vaccination of the remaining healthcare workers, as well as the
rollout to citizens 60 years and older.
