Incapacity Management

Our incapacity management services are based on the ethos of fair, objective and impartial disability case assessment and incapacity management principles. Central to our offering is the provision of incapacity assessment and management services that are aimed at retaining the ill or incapacitated employee in the workplace for as long as reasonably possible, accommodating that individual's functional needs within the vocational environment and facilitating early return to work strategies.

Through AIM we can assist organisations to measure, quantify and manage workplace incapacity through a multidimensional and multiprofessional approach.

The primary objectives of our incapacity management initiatives are to:

  • accurately assess the level and extent of impairment or disability and to make appropriate management recommendations.
  • prescribe purposeful and outcomes-based vocational rehabilitation interventions.
  • develop strategies to reduce costs associated with valid and invalid vocational incapacity and occupational disability cases.
