Wellness screening


The wellness screenings are aimed at identifying conditions at an earlier stage to improve the employee's health and prolong survival.

 

 

Health Risk Assessment


Prior to the wellness day, participants will be asked to complete a health risk assessment (HRA), which will be used to identify potential health risks that are related to lifestyle and family history.

 

 

Health screenings will include the following tests:

 

  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate
  • Body mass index measurement
  • Peak Flow Test.

 


Rapid blood screening includes an assessment of:

 

  • Cholesterol

 

  • Glucose

 

  • HIV (VCT)

o  Group information or education session
o  Pre-test counselling
o  Consenting to testing and enrolment onto disease management, if found to be positive
o  Confidential testing
o  Giving of results
o  Post-test counselling
o  Trauma counselling (optional)

 

 

 

Personal Health Passport

 

A personalised, basic health passport is prepared for employees with details of all the tests, and our recommendations.

 

 

 

Reporting

 

A report is prepared according to the specifics agreed with an organisation and will include, among other aspects, a disease profile per department/company, and demographics.
